PROBLEM IDENTIFIED:

"The suspension system type MacPherson does not use the artifice of adequate camber gains with the expected performance for sports vehicles."

PROPOSAL:

"Working on the adjustment and camber gain control of a MacPherson suspension for the front axle, when applied to sports vehicles, in order to correct the trajectory for the most neutral condition possible, within the kinematic limits of the suspension and maximum acceleration side to the vehicle."

Golden Circle

WHY?

We believe in a unique driving experience that meets the driver's expectation and performance sensation.

HOW?

Developing a MacPherson suspension with adaptive camber, which meets the performance requirements of sports vehicles, without sacrificing simple constructive characteristics and low manufacturing cost.

WHAT?

The proposal should ensure accurate responses at the wheel, minimize tire wear and optimize the vehicle for different request situations.

Target

Target PT_edited.jpg

For controlled conditions of: Camber adjustment

1. Achieve up to 85% of the maximum allowable lateral acceleration, according to rollover criteria (Cap 9. Rollover - Gillespie)

2. Use a range of + - 5° in the roll steer variation

3. Minimize the difference between real (tires) and desired steering wheel (applied to the steering wheel) by up to 10%
